1.
All accounts have to be paid in full before the mare is collected.
2. No Foal Free Return (if mare
is certified barren by 1st October) NB. Free Return carries forward
for one year only
3. If a
mare is sold after being covered and is not in foal then the
Free Return for one year is carried with the mare to the new
owners.
4. Hind shoes must
be removed prior to their arrival at stud.
5. Worming: Mares and foals should have been wormed
3 days prior to their arrival. They will then be wormed every
4-6 weeks during their stay and the owner charged accordingly.
6. Equine Flu & Tetanus Certificate:
No mare will be allowed on to the stud without a valid certificate,
which will be examined on arrival of the mare.
7. Swabs/Smears: All mares must be examined for
CEM, EVA and EHV and a certificate is required before the mare
is covered.
8. Saddlers-Mews
Sportshorse Stud and Balcormo Stud will endeavour to take all
possible safety precautions with visiting mares, but no responsibility
can be taken for accident or disease. The mare owner gives consent
to Saddlers-Mews Sportshorse Stud and Balcormo Stud to authorise
Veterinary assistance, that is not of a gynaecological nature,
if we feel it is a necessary course of action for the well being
of the mare, which will be chargeable to the mare owner.
9. Please note we only accept
mares with correct conformation and action, which are free from
hereditary diseases.

Grass Livery (Mare with foal)

Full Livery inc. Haylage/Hay
and feed - £6 per day
Full Livery as
above (Mare with foal) - £6.50 per day
